“The Lenovo technicians came on site to assess our needs and designed a HCI solution that met all our requirements within budget. We have been extremely impressed with the stability of the platform so far, which helps us to keep operations running safely.”

IT Director , Jinggangshan Power Plant

Powering safe, stable operations with a Lenovo hyperconverged infrastructure.

Jinggangshan Power Plant is a large thermal power station in Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, China. Opened in 2001, the plant now generates billions of kilowatt hours of energy each year, powering homes and businesses across the region. As a thermal power facility, Jinggangshan Power Plant must maintain safe, stable operations at all times. By replacing the aging three-tier architecture underpinning its core business systems with a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) based on Lenovo AH Series Hyperconverged Solution, the plant has boosted the availability and reliability of its most critical management information system (MIS) and production applications, and enhanced its disaster recovery capabilities—all while cutting IT costs and management workload.
