The new ThinkCentre X1 is an ultra-slim, ultra-innovative all-in-one (AIO) PC. Engineered to meet the evolving needs of business users, the ThinkCentre combines productivity, connectivity and possibility in equal measure.
Multiple innovations all-in-one place
The ThinkCentre X1 has been engineered to impress, with an unwavering focus on the big picture and the small details. Tailormade for office deployment, it packs a huge amount of computing power into a device that’s slimmer than a notebook, drawing on innovative materials and advanced technologies.
Advanced Aluminum chassis
The ThinkCentre X1 chassis is made from CNC-milled aluminum that is up to five times stronger than plastic. As well as providing a strong core, and enabling a very thin design, CNC-milled aluminium also offers excellent thermals for more effective cooling. It’s built to last too, tested in extreme dust and dirt environments that simulate 10 years of office dust.
Innovative anti-glare technology has been employed that roughens the display surface at a micro level to scatter light and prevent glare. It’s a feature that is unique in the industry for an AIO of this size, helping to prevent eye strain and improve viewing. The display is then chemically hardened and ball-drop tested ten times to ensure a robust, reliable finish.
Mounted microphone and camera
Connect to a video or voice call from the ThinkCentre X1 and you’ll see and hear the difference instantly. Certified by Skype for Business, the ThinkCentre combines forward-facing dual array microphones with noise cancelling technology, and a high-quality camera that has an area polished clear for enhanced image quality. In addition, the microphones are positioned behind holes drilled in the screen, a more difficult manufacturing process, but one which results in clearer, crisper sound.
Combination desktop and monitor port
The ThinkCentre X1 features a single Display Port that is both an input and an output for video. This combination port spares users from having to figure out which port to use when connecting a second monitor to their PC, or trying to use it as an external display for a notebook or other device.Buy your ThinkPad
